Our Story
Learn why we exist

In 2025, The Haymarket Foundation’s Alcohol and Other Drugs services relocated to the Ozanam Learning Centre in Woolloomooloo.
Moving from Cathedral Street to the Ozanam Learning Centre offered a more financially sustainable option for the Haymarket Foundation whilst also offering closer integration with sector partners such as Vinnies and Homelessness NSW. From cooking classes and art workshops to a fully equipped gym, the Centre offers a welcoming environment that supports recovery, connection, and wellbeing.
“ The Centre offers a welcoming environment that supports recovery, connection, and wellbeing”
As part of the Haymarket Foundation’s broader organisational review and service integration strategy, additional staff from across Haymarket will be joining the Alcohol and Other Drugs team at the Ozanam Learning Centre in early 2026. The expanded team will be supported by a unified case management framework and refreshed supervision and training systems, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and alignment with our values and strategic goals.
