Rapid Response

The Inner City Rapid Response service provides case management and outreach support to single men and women experiencing homelessness in the Inner-City and Inner-Western suburbs of Sydney. The focus of this service is to find housing pathways so a person does not become entrenched in the long-term cycle of homelessness.

The Rapid Response program provides access to crisis and transitional accommodation, case work and advocacy support in navigating housing pathways (community housing, Housing NSW, boarding houses and private rental). The service can also provide brokerage support for basic living essentials.

We believe that by providing individualised, client-centered case management, we can help prevent people from becoming entrenched in the long-term cycle of homelessness.

Opening hours: The Rapid Response Service is available from 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday to Friday.

Entry Criteria: The Rapid Response Service is available to single men, women, transgender, and gender diverse people over the age of 18 who are experiencing homelessness.  We are an inclusive service that works using a trauma informed, harm reduction framework.

Accessing Rapid Response: You can access the rapid response service via a warm referral from your case worker from an external service, or by calling the number below.  Admission to the program starts with an initial assessment of your housing needs with one of our case workers.
