Temporary changes to our services

The Haymarket Foundation has temporarily suspended face-to-face service delivery at its crisis accommodation facility in Chippendale after a resident tested positive to COVID-19.

The resident was infectious on-site between Friday the 27th and early morning Monday the 30th of August.

The Foundation has been working closely with the Sydney Local Health District Public Health Unit and the Department of Communities and Justice to ensure all close contacts have been identified and informed.

The premises at Chippendale is currently closed for deep cleaning.

We expect to progressively re-open over the coming week, with a full return to in-person operations no later than Monday the 13th of September.

Staff continue to work Monday to Sunday 9:00am to 5:00pm. If you would like to reach the case management team, please email centre@haymarket.org.au

All other Haymarket Foundation programs and services, including Emergency Hotel Accommodation for non-residents, continue to operate under revised COVID-19 protocols using video and telephone communications.
